Türkiye's parliament has passed a new law aimed at bolstering consumer protections and increasing competitiveness in domestic markets.
Under the new legislation, contracts between creditors and consumers can now be formalized using identity verification methods through information or electronic communication devices.

Erdoğan meets with Venezuelan counterpart, receives Vietnamese PM
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro on Wednesday discussed bilateral ties in the Russian city of Kazan, the site of a summit of the BRICS group of countries.
During the meeting, Erdoğan and Maduro spoke about bilateral relations and regional and global issues, Türkiye's Communications Directorate said in a statement.

Turkish Airlines, Pegasus halt flights to Iran
Turkish Airlines and Pegasus have canceled all flights to Iran until Nov. 1 amid rising concerns over a potential Israeli retaliatory strike after Iran's recent missile attacks.
Both Turkish carriers suspended operations due to security concerns, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on Oct. 23.

Erdoğan arrives in Russia for BRICS talks
