Bulgaria 'Ignoring N-Korea Illicit Real-Estate Deals'

North Korea has been generating hard currency through dealings in Bulgaria, Yonhap news agency says in a report.

Citing diplomatic sources, the agency says "real estate dealings in Bulgaria" done by Pyongyang have resulted in raising calls for Sofia to "intervene amid global efforts to choke off sources of revenue" for the North Korean regime.

US bombers in show of force against N Korea

U.S. President Barack Obama has said that North Korea's fifth nuclear test "will have serious consequences."

The newspaper Guardian is reporting this on its website quoting Reuters, and adding that Obama was briefed about Pyongyang's actions by his advisers after returning from the the G20 and ASEAN meetings.

North Korea has confirmed it has conducted its most powerful nuclear test to date, marking the 68th anniversary of its founding with a reminder to the world that it may be edging closer to developing a warhead capable of striking the US mainland.
