Bulgarians celebrate Children's Day

Today is June 1 - Children's Day. The holiday dates back to the World Conference on Children's Health, held in Geneva in 1925.

24 years later, the day was officially declared International Children's Day. And in 1950, June 1 was celebrated simultaneously in 51 countries around the world for the first time.

Producers Market and Culinary Demonstrations on the International Children's Day

Funny, educational and very tasty - such will be the Children's Day for kids and their parents if they visit the specially organised organic products market. It will take place on June 1st in the Zaimov Park, next to the Sofia Theater. Over 40 organic producers will offer a variety of natural products grown in Bulgaria which were supported under the Rural Development Program (2014-2020).

Lugubrious celebration

Turkey marking National Sovereignty and Children's Day yesterday. As for the Children's Day, there was no problem.
