Serbia to Reintroduce State TV Subscription Fee

A source at the Ministry of Culture told BIRN on Monday that the new draft legislation on public service broadcasting envisions a 500 dinar (about 4.3 euro) monthly fee for the channels’ service.

"The plan is to start with this from 2016, after the two-year budget funds for the two broadcasters [RTS and RTV] expires," the source said on condition of anonymity.
