UNS: Journalists paid less than bus drivers in Serbia
BELGRADE - Electronic media in Serbia interrupted their programme on Saturday as part of the event Five Minutes of Thunderous Silence and read a statement by the Journalists' Association of Serbia (UNS) that says the media freedom in the country is at threat and that journalism has never been in a more difficult position economically.
Roman Tomb Found in Bulgaria’s Sapareva Banya Resort
An entirely preserved Roman tomb was discovered in Bulgaria’s south-west resort of Sapareva Banya, the historical museum in the city of Kyustendil announced.
During the construction of a private guest house, the workers have found what turned out to be 24 graves, the oldest of which dates back to 4th century AD, Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) reported.
Nikolic receives Bishop Nikolaj's medal in Lelic

Stickers with Croatian flag placed over bilingual signs
VUKOVAR - Members of an association of war veterans from Vukovar put stickers with the Croatian flag on around 20 bilingual signs located on government buildings in that town, the Croatian media have reported.
A group of veterans came to Vukovar after a commemoration in Borovo marking the 23rd anniversary of the death of police officerc from Vinkovac, the news agency Hina said.
Mayor to be probed over fairground death
The mayor of Argyroupoli-Elliniko, where a 13-year-old boy lost his life at a fairground, has been asked to explain the municipalitys actions as part of an administrative investigation into the incident that is separate from the judicial probe that has led to four people being charged with felonies.
