Djokovic rallies past Cilic

PARIS - Serbia's Novak Djokovic advanced to the round of 16 at Roland Garros after battling past Marin Cilic of Croatia 6-3, 6-2, 6-7 (2-7), 6-4 on Friday.

The Croatian threatened to cause an upset even after two sets down but No. 2 seed Djokovic regained control and continued his bid to win this year's French Open title.

Djokovic will next face either local favorite Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, against whom he has a 11-5 record, or Poland's Jerzy Janovich in their first-ever match.
