Cave Sanctuaries | Athens | October 11

The Athens Center is hosting a lecture on "Cave Sanctuaries in Attica: The Cave of Pan in Vari," on Tuesday, October 11. The speaker, Dr Alexandra Mari, is a prehistoric archaeologist at the Greek Culture Ministry's Ephorate of Paleoanthropology-Speleology. The lecture will focus on the well-known Cave of Pan located in Vari, south of Athens, rediscovered in modern times by Richard Chandler in 1765. Starts at 7 p.m.
