A monument to Chinese philosopher Confucius was unveiled on Wednesday in Belgrade's Square of Serbian-Chinese Friendship.

The unveiling was done by Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali and Zhang Chunxian, a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China.

They said the monument celebrated the sincere and unbreakable friendship between the two nations, Tanjug reported.
