19 people hurt in traffic accident in south

18 passengers on a bus in the town of Nis in southern Serbia, four children among them, have been lightly injured in a traffic accident on Friday.

A majority were allowed to go home after the doctors at the Nis Clinical Center examined them.

The accident happened when a cyclist collided with a parked pickup truck's door, which the driver had opened, attempting to leave the vehicle.

The cyclist - who was also lightly injured in the accident - then fell onto the road.

The driver of the bus slammed on the brakes to avoid running over the cyclist, causing the passengers to fall down and injure themselves.
