Troicki loses in Shenzhen quarter-finals

SHENZHEN - Serbia's Viktor Troicki has failed to reach the semi-finals of the Shenzhen ATP tournament after losing to Santiago Giraldo of Colombia 7-6 (8-6), 6-3 on Friday.

It was Troicki's second career defeat to Giraldo, who previously beat him in Hertogenbosch in 2010.

To reach the final, Giraldo will face Spain's Tommy Robredo, who defeated Italian Andreas Seppi 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 6-3.
