Serbia stable,offers good conditions for foreign investments

BELGRADE - Serbia is offering good conditions for foreign investments and the stable political and economic situation in the country is one of its advantages, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and US Ambassador to Serbia Michael Kirby said during a meeting on Friday.

Discussed in the meeting were bilateral Serbia-US relations, in particular economic cooperation and possibilities for new US investments in the Serbian economy, the Serbian government press office said in a statement.

The situation in Kosovo-Metohija and the resumption of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue was also one of the topics of the meeting.

The Serbian prime minister reiterated the orientation towards implementing infrastructure projects that would connect Serbia and Albania and contribute to political stability and economic progress in the region, the statement said.

Prime Minister Vucic and Ambassador Kirby also discussed other regional and international issues in light of Serbia's OSCE chairmanship.
