Mihajlovic: 58 construction permits issued in one month

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic stated on Wednesday that 58 construction permits have been issued in the course of one month.

In a morning programme broadcast by the Belgrade-based Television Pink, Mihajlovic said that the number of construction permits would increase as of April, when Ikea will also be granted a building permit.

The implementation of the law on planning and construction has just begun ad we expect even better results, she said and recalled that as few as six construction permits were issued in the same period last year.

Mihajlovic confirmed that issuance of electronic construction permits would begin as of January 1, 2016.
