Tsiaras: Primary sector is full of challenges

New Minister of Rural Development and Food Κostas Tsiaras  on Friday emphasized the significant challenges facing the primary sector as he undertook his new responsibilities following the government reshuffle.

Tsiaras stressed the importance of collaborative efforts as a team to address the issues within the primary sector, noting that farmers and livestock breeders are confronted with challenges such as climate change and rising production costs.

He also highlighted the forthcoming implementation of the new Common Agricultural Policy and the need to address the new issues it will bring.
