Bulgarian Village Lozen Suffers Unannounced Electricity Disruptions
The citizens of the Bulgarian village Lozen, located in the vicinity of the capital Sofia have alarmed local media and authorities on account of unannounced electricity disruptions.
They expressed their dissatisfaction with the services of CEZ and said they had to have candles and extra lamps ready on account of the unprecedented disruptions over the past 24 hours.
The electricity problems of the village located kilometers away from the capital has been pressing for several months now. In February people residing in Lozen staged a protest aimed against the electricity distributing services of CEZ and then the problem was fixed.
However, CEZ representatives have yet not made an official statement on the case over that left people without constant electricity flow over the past 24 hours.
Residents of Lozen protested on account of the fact that electricity disruptions in the village are by far not uncommon. While the majority of customers pay their bills regularly, they said that the service does not correspond to the price paid.
In their view, CEZ is taking advantage of its dominant position in this region of the country and feels it is completely protected by local authorities to do as it pleases.
