7 security officials wounded during bomb disposal in Turkey's southeast

Seven security officials have been wounded in an explosion that took place as a bomb squad was trying to dispose of a bomb placed by outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants in the Sur district of southeastern Diyarbak?r province. 

The blast occurred at 5 p.m. on Jan. 20 on Nazif Street of Sur's Dabano?lu neighborhood. 

Initial reports indicated seven security officials were wounded and hospitalized at Diyarbak?r Military Hospital.
