As RTK2 channel reports, the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo is expected to adopt a resolution that would ban Kosovo President Hashim Thaci from further negotiating with Belgrade about the territory of Kosovo.

The session will be held only three days before the announced Kosovo dialogue meeting in Brussels.

The decision to halt construction of the road connecting Decan/Decani with Plave in Montenegro, following the demands of the nearby Serbian Orthodox monastery, has caused conflicting reactions in Kosovo.

Visoki Decani Monastery protested over the construction of the road, claiming that it was being done within its five-km Special Protective Zone, SPZ.

The Kosovo Assembly is set to vote on the controversial agreement on border demarcation with Montenegro on Tuesday at 4pm, but a few hours before the deal is sent to MPs, it remains unclear if the ruling coalition can ensure it has 80 votes to ratify it.

Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovic will pay an official visit to Kosovo on Tuesday, despite Kosovo's failure to set a day for its MPs to vote on a long-awaited demarcation agreement between the two countries.

Kosovo's government confirmed that "all topics of mutual interest between two countries will be discussed" during Markovic's visit.

Days ahead the visit of the Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovic to Kosovo, it remains unclear if and when Kosovo's parliament will vote to ratify the agreement on border demarcation between the two countries.

However, in case it reaches the Kosovo Assembly and gets its endorsement, the government would respect it, Tanjug quoted him as saying on Thursday, citing the Pristina-based website Indeksonline.

The Basic Court of Pristina on Friday acquitted Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj, Endrit Shala, Shpetim Telaki, Nexhat Krasniqi and Florim Zuka of organised crime, abuse of official position and authority and accepting bribes.

Preliminary results from Kosovo's Central Election Commission, CEC, held good news for the opposition Vetevendosje party and the Democratic League of Kosovo, LDK - and for the governing Alliance of the Future of Kosovo, AAK. It was bad night for the Democratic Party of Kosovo, PDK.

As Kosovo waits for official results from Sunday's local elections, some 17 municipalities already seem set for runoffs, according to preliminary data from local NGO Democracy in Action (DIA), which monitored the process.
