Long-sought suspect detained in Turkey's Gaziantep over Oct 10, 2015, Ankara bombing

A long-sought suspect was detained in the southeastern province of Gaziantep on April 6 over his alleged involvement in the deadly Ankara bombing on Oct. 10, 2015.

One of the perpetrators of the attack with links to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), Hüseyin Tunç, was captured in an operation in the ?ahinbey district. 

IMC TV satellite broadcast blacked out

The satellite broadcast of IMC TV was blacked out on Feb. 24, following a public prosecutor's demand that its frequency be cut for "making terror organization propaganda."   

"There has been an interruption in the satellite broadcast of IMC TV. The reason has not been clarified yet," the small leftist station said in a tweet.

156 judges and prosecutors reassigned in Turkey

As many as 156 Turkish judges and prosecutors have been reassigned to different job posts by Turkey's top judicial body.

A total of 137 personnel in the legal judiciary and 19 others in the administrative judiciary were rotated following a decision by the Supreme Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSYK), as announced on its website on Oct. 15.

Polling committee head dismissed in Germany over multiple vote attempt

A polling committee head living in Frankfurt has been caught while attempting to vote in the name of somebody else in Turkey's upcoming June 7 general election.

The president of the number six ballot box Hasan Tüfek, who is also a religious official in the city, cast his own vote on May 14 and took photos of himself while voting.
