The Art Foundation (TAF) in Monastiraki, downtown Athens, presents "Backstage Narratives / Luminous Scenarios," a joint exhibition by Greek printmakers Thanos Tsiousis and Aristea Haroniti. "Backstage Narratives" refers to Haroniti's works, which possess a strong element of psychology derived from her own experiences as well as those of the characters depicted.

Greek painter Artemis Chatzigiannaki is taking part in the group exhibition "The Spirit of the 60," which is centered around the city of Athens during the 1960s, at The Art Foundation (TAF), an innovative multipurpose culture space in the heart of the city, through February 3.

Brostakalli | Athens | To September 15
In a nod to young artists, The Art Foundation hosts "Brostakalli," an exhibit curated by Ariadne Tzika. The exhibit showcases artworks that explore the arbitrary ideals of beauty and its alternatives. Artists include Pirro Caridha, Alexia Diamanti, Dorina Fountoulaki and others. Admission is free of charge.

"It Grows on You" comprises an exhibition, lectures and workshops conducted by professionals in various fields who put environmentally friendly and sustainable practices to use.

Paris & Meropi Prekas | Thessaloniki | To February 15
'Paris Prekas and Meropi Preka: Two Artists, Two Worlds' is a tribute put together by the Teloglion Foundation to the two multifaceted artists. The ground-floor area hosts 70 pieces by Paris Prekas (1926-99) - including his last oil paintings depicting decommissioned tankers in clean and bold colours - while on the floor above visitors can view Meropi Preka's paintings and stained glass.
Funky Souvenirs | Athens | July 11 - October 8
The fifth annual installment of the "It's all, oh so souvenir to me!" initiative brings together more than 40 graphic designers, architects, artists, etc, who have been invited to redefine the Greek souvenir and, by extension, Greece's tourism identity. Their work will be on display and sale starting on Tuesday, July 11 - with a big party, from 9 p.m.
