Der Standard: Austria Gets Involved in Peevski-Vasilev Conflict
Austria has asked Bulgarian authorities to issue an arrest warrant against Bulgarian MP Delyan Peevski, Markus Bernath argues in the daily Der Standard.
The country's National Criminal Intelligence Service (BK) acted after Bulgarian banker Tsvetan Vasilev requested it start an investigation into death threats allegedly involving Peevski.

Bulgarian MP Delyan Peevski, whose appointment as head of the national security service sparked nationwide outrage, was confirmed to be second in his party's EU Elections list.
The order in the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS)'s list was confirmed after the party introduced it to the Central Electoral Commission, Bulgaria's television channel bTV reported.

Bulgarian MP: People Don't Think When They Take A Credit
“The Bulgarians don't think what will they do, when they take a credit”, said Georgi Kadiev, Bulgarian Socialist Party MP.
“Those people need someone to protect them from themselves, because they don't think,” he added in an interview for Nova TV, regarding the amendments to the Consumer Credits Act, aiming to cap the interest rates at 50.5% per year.
