Albania handed victory in drone incident qualifier

Turkish hurdler's doping ban increased from 2 to 3 years
Former European 100-meter hurdles champion Nevin Yan?t has had her doping ban increased from two to three years by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Yan?t was originally sentenced by the Turkish Athletics Federation in 2013 after testing positive for banned substances during a competition in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Appeal court backs Barcelona transfer ban
The Court of Arbitration for Sport on Dec. 30 upheld a one year transfer ban against Spanish football giants Barcelona for breaching rules on signing under-18 players.

CAS upholds FIFA sanction against Simunic for hate speech
LAUSANNE - The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has confirmed a sanction imposed by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) against Croatia’s player Josip Simunic, who remains suspended during the 2014 FIFA World Cup final competition after leading a Croatian fascist salute following Croatia’s World Cup qualifying play-off victory over Iceland in Zagreb on November 19.
