Trabzonspor to appeal at sports court over UEFA ban
Turkish football club Trabzonspor on June 3 said it will appeal at the international sports court against the UEFA's decision to ban the club from European competitions for one year.
"We announce to public that Trabzonspor will appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Switzerland in 10 days," the club said on its website.
Bulgaria Pays Fine to Lift Weightlifting Doping Ban
Bulgaria's weightlifting federation said on Friday that it had paid a USD 250,000 (EUR 214,000) fine to lift a doping ban on its team competing internationally. The ban was imposed by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) in mid-2015 after Bulgaria's entire team of eleven athletes tested positive for stanozolol, an anabolic steroid that stimulates increased muscle tissue.

The decision was announced hours before the opening ceremony of the XXIII Winter Olympics, which will start at 13:00 Bulgarian time.

Vulin: UNSC must say whether Resolution 1244 is still valid
KRAGUJEVAC - It has once again become evident that some precedents apply to Serbia, Serbian government minister Aleksandar Vulin said after Kosovo was admitted to UEFA on Tuesday, adding that he expects the UN Security Council to say whether its Resolution 1244 on Kosovo is still valid.
