Bulgaria opens offices in Belgrade
BELGRADE - Trade and Economic Office and Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria opened on Tuesday at a ceremony in Belgrade, in the presence of Bulgarian Ambassador to Serbia Angel Dimitrov, who said that even after 135 years of diplomatic relations the ties between the two countries continue to strengthen in all areas.

Serbian documentary on Great War awarded in Russia
BELGRADE - Serbian documentary entitled "Serbia and Branicevo in the Great War 1914-1918" has been awarded at the Sergey Bondarchuk Festival in Russia, the Cultural Center in Pozarevac released in a statement.
The film won the best director award at the 11th international military-patriotic film festival Sergey Bondarchuk in the town of Volokolamsk.

Islamic center in Athens neighborhood of Moschato vandalized
Authorities on Friday were investigating a predawn attack against the Greek-Arab Educational and Cultural Center in the southern Athens suburb of Moschato.
Unknown individuals sprayed anti-Islamic slogans and placed a pigs head in front of the buildings entrance. They also sprayed a red Christian cross on the door and threw blue paint on the brick walls of the center.
81st Vuk's Assembly opens in Loznica
LOZNICA - The 81st Vuk's Assembly, the country's oldest cultural event dedicated to the reformer of the Serbian language and script Vuk Stefanovic Karadzic (1787-1864) opened on Monday at the Cultural Center in Loznica, western Serbia.

Novi Sad to host Brazilian culture event for fifth time
NOVI SAD – The northern Serbian city of Novi Sad will host Days of Brazil (Dani Brazila) - Novi Sad Samba Carnival on August 15-17 and present itself as regional center of Brazilian culture for the fifth consecutive year, the city's cultural center has said in a release.
