Romanian gov't commitments under EURO 2020 bid, 95pct met
All the commitments of the Romanian government under the country's bid to host matches of the UEFA EURO 2020 European Football Championship are 95 percent met, retired footballer Gica Popescu, honorary adviser to the prime minister, said on Wednesday.
Fixed tax rates for investments
A new bill on strategic investment incentives tabled on Monday by the Economy and Development Ministry provides for tax exemptions and fixed tax status, as well as the favorable taxation of foreign officials involved in major investments in Greece.

Police detain 39 municipality staff in Turkish capital over Gülen links
Police on May 24 detained 39 municipality staff working for local governments in Ankara over their alleged use of ByLock, an encrypted messaging application linked to the Gülen movement, which is accused of perpetrating the July 2016 coup attempt.
Earlier, the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had issued detention warrants for a total of 79 municipality staff.

Goddess sculpture found in Aegean Sea
A ceramic sculpture, which is said to be the biggest one in the history of Turkish underwater history, has been discovered off the coast of the Bozburun neighborhood in the western province of Muğla's Marmaris district.
The 2,700-year-old sculpture found during examinations in a ship wreckage, which was unearthed last year in November, belonged to a Cypriot goddess.
