Over 260 PKK suspects detained in nationwide operations
Turkish security forces have apprehended over 260 people, including a suspect linked to a recently prohibited rally in the southern province of Diyarbakır, on charges of affiliation with the PKK terrorist organization, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on Oct. 15.
Around 330,600 cannabis sativa roots seized

5 civilians killed in PKK attack in SE Turkey
At least five villagers were killed in southeastern Turkey on April 8 by the terrorist organization PKK, said the local governorship.
Roadside explosives planted by the terror group hit a vehicle carrying forest workers in the rural town of Güleç in the Kulp district, said the Diyarbakır Governor's Office in a statement.

Authorities use the word "neutralized" in their statements to imply the militants in question were either killed, wounded or captured.
