Vucic: We will assist fight against terrorism as much as we can
BELGRADE - Serbia will assist the fight against terrorism as much as it can, Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic wrote in a message in a book of condolence at the French embassy in Belgrade following the Nice terror attack.

Historian Dubravka Stojanovic awarded French order
Dubravka Stojanovic has received the French national order of merit in the class of Knight from Ambassador Christine Moro at the French embassy in Belgrade.
Stojanovic is a historian and associate professor at Belgrade's Faculty of Philosophy.

BELGRADE - Yugoslav Film Archive Director General Radoslav Zelenovic and sculptor Mrdjan Bajic, a full professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Belgrade, have been presented with the French Order of the Knight of Arts and Letters at a ceremony in the French Embassy in Belgrade.

Paris Terror Attack Victims Mourned in Balkans
In Serbia, local people including journalists spontaneously gathered on Wednesday night in front of the French embassy in Belgrade to honour the staff of Charlie Hebdo - the satirical magazine at the centre of the bloodbath in Paris.
About 40 people lighted candles paying respect to the 12 victims of the attack who included eight journalists and two policemen.

Embassy: France will pay additional EUR 1 million to Serbia
BELGRADE - The French Embassy in Belgrade voiced satisfaction over the great success of the Donors' Conference organized to help repair the damage caused by the May floods in Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, which raised a total of EUR 1.846 billion for the two countries, adding that France will pay an additional EUR 1 million in emergency financial aid to Serbia.

France doubles number of rescuers in Serbia
BELGRADE - Last weekend, France doubled the number of technical rescuers it has sent to help relief efforts in Serbia after recent massive floods in the country, increasing it to a total of 89 rescue workers who are all on the ground right now, the French Embassy in Belgrade has said in a release.
