The course of the housing market across the country showed signs of slowing down in the second quarter of the year.

There was a steep increase in the purchase and sale of houses, as well as in sale prices during the first nine months of 2023 in Attica, as the "My Home" program and changes to the requirements for a Golden Visa played a catalytic role in a sharp shift in demand.

In the first two months of the year the digital platform will be ready for the submission of applications for the acquisition of encroached state land, according to the National Economy and Finance Ministry.

The effort to have taxable property rates (known as "objective values") converge with the actual market prices currently looks like a losing battle.
