SOCCER: Panayiotis Retsos has become the most expensive player ever to leave the Greek league, as Bayer Leverkusen has forked out a reported 22 million euros to acquire the 19-year-old Olympiakos defender.
Panionios beats Apollon 2-0 to stay perfect
Panionios is one of only two Greek league teams to maintain a perfect record after two rounds, defeating Apollon Smyrnis 2-0 Sunday.
Defending champion Olympiakos, which beat Lamia 1-0 Saturday, also has six points.
Wingback Ehsan Hajsafi opened the scoring for hosts Panionios in the 39th with a solo effort, splitting the defense and scoring from close range.

Olympiakos beats Lamia 1-0, maintains perfect start
Costas Fortounis' penalty in the 29th minute gave defending champion Olympiakos a 1-0 win over newcomer Lamia in the Greek league on Saturday.
Lamia was nominally the home team, but with its home ground still undergoing renovation, the game was played in Athens.
AEK starts season with 2-0 win over Panetolikos
AEK started its Greek league season with a 2-0 victory over Panetolikos on Sunday with both teams reduced to 10 men.
Hugo Almeida scored with a penalty in the 14th minute, only to be dismissed 14 minutes later for elbowing in the face an opponent who had grabbed his shirt.
Marcos Paulo got a second yellow card three minutes into the second half for a late tackle.

Fenerbahçe reaches third straight Final Four with sweep of Panathinaikos
Fenerbahçe became the first team to advance to the 2017 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four, which will be held in its own city, by completing a playoff sweep of Panathinaikos with a 79-61 victory on April 25 at Fenerbahçe Ülker Sports Arena on April 25.
Fenerbahçe used a balanced attack to reach its third Final Four in as many seasons.

Beşiktaş downs Olympiacos, sets sights on Lyon in Europa League quarterfinals
Beşiktaş will take on Lyon of France in the Europa League quarterfinals after knocking out Greek team Olympiacos on March 16.
The draw on March 17 pitted the defending Turkish league champion against the French league runner-up, with the first leg scheduled to be played on April 13 in Lyon.
