Greek MP appointed VP of NATO Parliamentary Assembly
The head of the Greek delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Marietta Giannakou, has been elected vice president of the consultative interparliamentary organization for the North Atlantic Alliance, making her the first Greek MP to be appointed to the position.

Greek PM Tsipras to leave for Cuba Monday night
Greek PM Alexis Tsipras will be departing for Cuba Monday night to attend the 9-day public mourning ceremony for the deceased former Cuban President-dictator Fidel Castro. Ministerial decision expected on possibility of ceding property instead of paying inheritance tax
A ministerial decision allowing citizens unable to accept an inheritance for tax reasons to cede property instead of paying inheritance taxes was expected to be announced in the near future, the ANA-MPA news agency reported on Thursday.
