ForMin Melescanu attends opening of Honorary Consulate in Split, Croatia

Foreign Affairs Minister Teodor Melescanu attended on Thursday, on the first day of his official visit to the Republic of Croatia, the opening of the Honorary Consulate in Split, underscoring on this occasion that one of the main tasks of the new office is granting support to the Romanian community on a local level and to the Romanian citizens who are visiting Croatia.

Bulgaria is Opening Another Consulate in Ukraine

The government has adopted a decision to open an honorary consulate of Bulgaria in Ukraine with its headquarters in the town of Kropivnitsky and a consular district covering the territory of the Kirovohrad region. Dmitry Vasilyevich Jorgacov will be appointed as honorary consul, the press service of the cabinet announced.
 

Bulgaria to Open New Consular Office in Japan

Bulgaria will open a new consular office in Japan, according to a decision of the caretaker government

It will be located in Kinki, a western region of the island of Honshu, which generates 16% of the GDP of the country and is considered Japan's second biggest economic center.

Around ¼ of the Bulgarians living in Japan reside on the territory of Kinki.
