A temporary exhibition titled: "Trebenishte" - 105 years since the discovery of the necropolis at Trebenishte 1918 - 2023", can be visited until March 24, 2024
No more memorials to "conquerors, war criminals, terrorists"
From now on, the state, rather than individuals will be deciding on who to honor with monuments, the daily Vecernje Novosti writes.
Among the memorials that will most likely be removed is a plaque in Novi Pazar dedicated to Acif Efendija, and a memorial to the so-called Liberation Army of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedje installed in the town of Presevo.

PIROT - The discoveries at an archaeological site in central Pirot, southeastern Serbia, have exceeded the expectations of archeologists, who have decided to partly reconstruct the rampart and a tower of the ancient Roman settlement of Tures.
Kirby visits Roman Imperial Palace of Sirmium site
SREMSKA MITROVICA - U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Michael Kirby visited the Roman Imperial Palace of Sirmium and restoration labs in Sremska Mitrovica on Thursday.
Kirby said that huge progress had been made in the restoration of mosaics at the palace in the past six months and expressed satisfaction about the outstanding cooperation between the United States and Serbia in the project.
