Ministry promoting green air transport
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has prioritized initiatives to maintain high performance and safety standards, and to promote the transition to a green model of air transport.
This was announced by Minister Christos Staikouras at the Hellenic Aviation Society's event on Friday, celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Türkiye changes envoys in Moscow, Kiev
The Turkish Foreign Ministry has reshuffled a number of ambassadors, including Moscow and Kiev, the two warring neighboring states. The spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, Tanju Bilgiç, will serve in Moscow while Mustafa Levent Bilgen will be deployed to Kiev, the Turkish media reported on June 16.

New measures for liquid waste, electric vehicles at airports
In line with the latest environmental regulations, items confiscated due to liquid restrictions in hand luggage will be sorted according to waste codes and electric or eco-friendly vehicles will be used at airports, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM) has announced.
Bulgarians and EU Citizens Will Enter UK only with Passports from October 1st
As of October 1, 2021, Bulgarian citizens can enter the UK only with an international passport, which must be valid for the entire period of the planned stay.
Exception will be made only for those who have received the so called "settled status" in UK.
Citizens who do not present such a document will not be allowed in the country.
