The Israel Police, Shin Bet (Israel's anti-terror General Security Service) and the IDF (Israel Defence Forces) issued a joint statement reporting that Monday evening the Israeli security forces killed three terrorists in an operation to arrest a wanted man in the village of Ikhtaba in Samaria.

Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen sent a message of solidarity to Greece on social media on Wednesday as the country battles wildfires in several regions, confirming that Israeli assistance was on the way to assist with firefighting efforts.

Israel police rounded up eight Jewish extremists from a racist anti-Arab organisation overnight, a spokeswoman said early Dec. 21, in the second such swoop targeting the group within a week.

The suspects were rounded up in a series of raids across central and southern Israel and the occupied West Bank, police spokeswoman Luba Samri said.        

A Palestinian teenager from annexed east Jerusalem was kidnapped and killed early July 2 in a suspected act of revenge for the murder of three Israeli youths, army radio reported.
