Protesters against the anti-epidemic measures, which come into force tomorrow with the introduction of the so-called "green certificate", attacked the Minister of Education Nikolay Denkov.

Bulgarian Health authorities are introducing a green certificate for all indoor activities. This was announced by the Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov and his deputies Alexander Zlatanov and Toma Tomov.

The green certificate will take effect with an order from 00:00, Thursday, October 21.

Teachers without a green certificate can teach remotely. This was said to bTV by the Minister of Education Nikolay Denkov on the occasion of the discussed new measures against the spread of the coronavirus in schools.

The measures proposed by the chief state health inspector will be discussed on Monday at an extraordinary meeting of an extended panel of the expert council, caretaker Minister Stoycho Katsarov told the media. He assured that a complete lockdown in the country - everything closed and people staying at home, is not necessary for now.

In a "dark red" scenario, only kindergartens with 100% vaccinated or post-sick staff will work.

Kindergarten children will not wear protective face masks, regardless of age. A child may wear a protective mask there only at the recommendation of a doctor or at the request of a parent.
