Bulgaria is among the countries in the European Union (EU) with the least number of projects and grant funding under the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Program. Towards the end of March this year. 234 Bulgarian organizations participating in the 504 project consortium have managed to attract a little over EUR 76.5 million in pure funding.

In the Bulgarian schools, the questionnaire on the SELFIE tool was suspended. That was announced by Minister Krasimir Valchev. It was prepared by the EC, and it was distributed to about 900 schools in Bulgaria to assess their opportunities for introducing digital technologies for teaching and learning.

Some 31 new schools from 11 countries have applied to be included in the list of Sunday Schools for the coming year, Director of Education for Bulgarians Abroad and School Network Directorate at the Ministry of Education and Science (MES), Natalia Mihalevska, told Focus Radio.
