Romania Seeks Extradition of Former MP Arrested in Serbia
Bucharest will ask Serbia in the coming days to extradite former MP Sebastian Ghita, who is wanted in Romania on several corruption charges.
Ghita, 38, was detained in Belgrade last Thursday night after identifying himself to police with fake Slovenian documents.
He was arrested after Serbian police thought it strange a "Slovenian" was speaking only in English.
ND leader accuses gov't of media manipulation
Opposition leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis has accused Greece's SYRIZA-led government of trying to manipulate Greek media while blurring the line between business and political interests.
"You are evolving into the most relentless, into the most authoritarian government this country has seen in the post-dictatorship years," the New Democracy leader said in Parliament Wednesday.

Albania Ruling Party Seeks More Control of Online Media
Socialist Party MP Taulant Balla on Tuesday criticised what he called "web portals used for electoral propaganda" and called for obligatory registration and the blocking of sites that fail to register during electoral campaigns.
A draft of the proposal, which Balla sent to BIRN, says that unregistered sites publishing 'electoral propaganda' will be closed down.
