Bulgaria's GERB Withdraws Support from State Budget Overhaul
Center-right opposition GERB has stepped back and has announced it is against the update of Bulgaria's state budget.
Leader Boyko Borisov has declared the party will not attend any more Parliament sessions until August 5, when the last meeting of lawmakers in the 42nd National Assembly is due to be held.
Bulgaria's President to Ask DPS to Form New Cabinet 'Wednesday'

DPS, the junior partner in the outgoing Socialist-Liberal coalition government, is the third largest political party represented in the 240-seat chamber.

Trade unions file requests to the Serbian parliament
BELGRADE - Representatives of the two most numerous trade unions from restructuring companies filed to the Serbian parliament the requests for withdrawal of proposed amendments to the labour law and law on pension and disability insurance.
Mihail Mikov Blames BNB, Parliament For the KTB Crisis
Bulgaria's Speaker of Parliament Mihail Mikov blamed the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) and Parliament for the crisis with the Corporate Commercial Bank (KTB).
Mikov told Darik radio that the BNB reaction was slow, while Parliament was too strict observing the Central Bank's independence.
Bulgarian Opposition MP Deposits His Resignation
Georgi Elenkov, a lawmaker from center-right GERB, has decided to step down.
Elenkov replaced former GERB MP, who left the party in February to become "independent" (but informally represented non-parliamentary Bulgaria without Censorship) and quit the National Assembly last week.

Bulgaria's Ataka Keeps Promise To Leave Parliament
Bulgaria’s ultranationalist Ataka party MPs kept their word to not enter anymore parliamentary sessions and did not turn up to the National Assembly on Wednesday.
Speaking to journalists on Tuesday, party leader Volen Siderov claimed that his MPs will not work within the current national assembly, which will be dissolved on August 6, as they see no point in it.

Italian police delegation visits Serbia
