BELGRADE - Leader of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) Vojislav Kostunica submitted an irrevocable resignation on Wednesday due to the party's defeat in the parliamentary elections that were held on March 16.

BRUSSELS - European Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele congratulated Serbia on the successfully conducted elections and underscored that the results prove that citizens are committed to the continuation of European integration.
