New Croatian president writes to UN chief about Seselj

ZAGREB, BELGRADE -- Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic has sent a letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon asking for "steps to be taken to return Vojislav Seselj to custody."

"Circus continues," says Hague cooperation council chief

BELGRADE -- After the Hague Prosecution asked the Trial Chamber to order Vojislav Seselj to return to the detention unit, Rasim Ljajic said that "the circus continues."

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and head of the National Council for Cooperation with the ICTY Rasim Ljajic said Thursday that the European Parliament's resolution on leader of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) Vojislav Seselj is a provocation by Croatian MEPs and serves as part of the campaign for Croatia's presidential election scheduled for December 28.

Government officials won't greet Šešelj

BELGRADE -- After spending 12 years in the Hague detention without verdict, Hague indictee and SRS party leader Vojislav Šešelj should return to Serbia today around noon.

KRUPANJ -- Rasim Ljajić says he expects a decision of the Trial Chamber of the ICTY on a possible provisional release of Vojislav Šešelj to be made "in a day or two."

THE HAGUE - The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) has published a letter by President of the National Council for Cooperation with the ICTY Rasim Ljajic concerning Serbia's willingness to provide guarantees for Vojislav Seselj's possible provisional release, on condition that Seselj complies with all the requirements set by the relevant Trial Chamber.

Guarantees offered for release of seriously ill Šešelj

THE HAGUE -- The Hague Tribunal has asked Holland and Serbia to, by 18:00 hours CET, declare themselves on providing guarantees for Vojislav Šešelj's temporary release.

The court said it received "additional confidential information" that indicate Šešelj's health has deteriorated.

BELGRADE - Serbia's Justice Ministry has received an order from The Hague tribunal’s trial chamber in the Vojislav Seselj case inviting the Netherlands as the host country and the Serbian government to provide their comments regarding guarantees concerning Serbian Radical Party (SRS) leader’s possible provisional release, the ministry told Tanjug on Wednesday.

Bulgaria's Ministerial Council is planning to employ young Roma citizens to work as consultants for the National Roma Integration Strategy.

The National Roma Integration Strategy was ratified by the previous Bulgarian government, and falls within the auspices of the National Council for Cooperation on Ethnic and Integration Issues.

BELGRADE – Serbian MPs met on Saturday to continue a debate on the bill on ministries and draft amendments to the Law on Government.

The MPs put forward 60 amendments to the bill on ministries and two amendments to the draft amendments to the Law on Government.
