Ljajic: EP resolution - provocation by Croatian MEPs

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and head of the National Council for Cooperation with the ICTY Rasim Ljajic said Thursday that the European Parliament's resolution on leader of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) Vojislav Seselj is a provocation by Croatian MEPs and serves as part of the campaign for Croatia's presidential election scheduled for December 28.

ICTY publishes Serbian letter of guarantees for Seselj

THE HAGUE - The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) has published a letter by President of the National Council for Cooperation with the ICTY Rasim Ljajic concerning Serbia's willingness to provide guarantees for Vojislav Seselj's possible provisional release, on condition that Seselj complies with all the requirements set by the relevant Trial Chamber.

THE HAGUE -- The Hague Tribunal has asked Holland and Serbia to, by 18:00 hours CET, declare themselves on providing guarantees for Vojislav Šešelj's temporary release.

The court said it received "additional confidential information" that indicate Šešelj's health has deteriorated.

BELGRADE - Serbia's Justice Ministry has received an order from The Hague tribunal’s trial chamber in the Vojislav Seselj case inviting the Netherlands as the host country and the Serbian government to provide their comments regarding guarantees concerning Serbian Radical Party (SRS) leader’s possible provisional release, the ministry told Tanjug on Wednesday.

Bulgarian Govt to Employ Young Roma as Integration Consultants

Bulgaria's Ministerial Council is planning to employ young Roma citizens to work as consultants for the National Roma Integration Strategy.

The National Roma Integration Strategy was ratified by the previous Bulgarian government, and falls within the auspices of the National Council for Cooperation on Ethnic and Integration Issues.
