Vucic underlined that Putin was very nice and fair, but he also pointed out that he could not be completely open as the President of the Republic.

Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has criticized the security summit that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan convened after Russia staged war against Ukraine, saying the parliament should have debated the issue and a National Security Council should have evaluated the crisis.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said the Turkish nation will never forget those who took a tough stance during the Feb. 28 "post-modern coup."

Albania's Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhacka, said Albania was joining EU and Western sanctions on Russia over the invasion of Ukraine, presenting its raft of measures on Sunday.

President stated at the very beginning that these are especially difficult days for Serbia for many reasons.
"In the previous days, we managed to take a stand on the crisis in Ukraine in terms of what state bodies will do. We were faced with problems and pressures, almost undisguised. However, the decision was taken with a cool head in the best interest of Serbia", Vui said.

The session of the National Security Council, the third this week, which will discuss the situation in the region and Ukraine, will be held today at 4 PM.

After mostly condemning Russia's all-out attack on Ukraine, Balkan governments on Thursday said they are working on evacuating their remaining citizens from the embattled country, assessing the security situation and even boosting reserves of food and fuel.

"Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic talked today with the ambassadors of the Quint countries and the head of the EU Delegation to Serbia on numerous issues. All information on the views expressed by the parties will be published in the next 36 hours," it was announced on the Future of Serbia profile on Instagram, along with the photos from the meeting.

The statement reads that the Government of the Republic of Serbia sent an invitation to the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vui, to address today's session, at which the situation in the region and Ukraine will be discussed.
The sessions will also be attended by directors of public companies.
