An 18-year-old woman, who was forced into prostitution in southern Turkey for years by her own parents, has been saved with the help of a women's rights NGO and the Family and Social Policies Ministry.

The refugees state that the police authorities marked registration numbers on their arms while they were asleep. Representatives from NGOs state that this is a common practice when there are massive arrivals on the island.

Macedonian Journalists Lay Wreath at Govt HQ
Journalists, NGO activists and some former politicians joined the gesture of support for the journalist Borjan Jovanovski after a funeral wreath sent by an anonymous person arrived at his family home.
In a symbolic protest, the journalists delivered their own funeral wreath to the government, inscribed with the same words: "Final Greetings".

Save Sofia NGO Alarms Brussels on Poor Renovation Works Funded by EU
The non-governmental organization Save Sofia has sent a signal to Brussels on account of low quality renovation works in Bulgaria's capital. The project was executed in the Sofia municipality with EU funds.
