Turkey sends second patch of medical supplies to UK
A Turkish military cargo plane carrying the second patch of medical supplies departed on April 12 for the U.K. in a bid to help the coronavirus combat.
"At the direction of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's instructions, the second patch of medical aid that will be used to fight the COVID-19 virus have been sent to the U.K. today," the Defense Ministry said in a tweet.
Boris Johnson Admitted to an Intensive Care Unit
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was admitted to the intensive care unit this night after his condition worsened, the BBC reported. Johnson's first positive test for COVID-19 was 10 days ago. He had mild symptoms and was isolated in his home.
Today, his spokesman announced that he was still suffering from symptoms and was admitted to St. Thomas Hospital Sunday night.

Two people in the UK tested positive for the new coronavirus that has emerged in China. These are the first cases in the country, health authorities said today, cited by the French press.
"We can confirm that two patients in England, who are members of the same family, have tested positive for coronavirus," said Chris Whitty, chief medical officer for England.

"Where there is a will, there is a #deal - we have one! It's a fair and balanced agreement for the EU and the UK and it is testament to our commitment to find solutions", Juncker said.
"I recommend that #EUCO endorses this deal", he said, as Reuters reports.

Measles Cases Hit Record High in Europe
Cases of measles in Europe have hit a record high, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
More than 41,000 people have been infected in the first six months of 2018, leading to 37 deaths.
Last year there were 23,927 cases and the year before 5,273. Experts blame this surge in infections on a drop in the number of people being vaccinated.
