Türkiye condemns Israel's 'illegal' operation in West Bank

Türkiye has issued a strong condemnation of Israel's military operation in the occupied West Bank, criticizing remarks by Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz regarding the extension of Gaza-like practices to the region.

Türkiye's Foreign Ministry described the operation as "illegal" and a "major threat to global security."

New Israeli airstrikes hit Gaza

Israeli airstrikes on Gaza were reported early on Aug. 29.

Strikes hit a location used by Hamas' armed wing, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades and a farm, according to an Anadolu Agency reporter, citing witnesses.

Palestinian authorities did not comment about if the strikes caused any casualties.

Israel carries out airstrikes on Gaza Strip

Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes early on June 16 on positions in the Gaza Strip belonging to the Palestinian resistance group Hamas. 

The Israeli army said in a statement that it targeted Hamas compounds, including in the al-Yarmouk area east of Khan Younis city.

It also bombed a position in the Zeitoun neighborhood.

Israel continues attacks on Gaza

Two more Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip taking the death toll from the offensive to 221, the Palestinian Health Ministry said May 19.

The fatalities include 63 children and 36 women.

Two more Palestinians were injured taking the total number of casualties to 1,507.

Turkish president, FM discuss Palestine with Pakistani counterpart

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on May 18 met his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Ankara to discuss the situation in Palestine amid continual Israeli bombardment.

Discussed Israel's atrocities in Palestine, our relations and Afghan peace process, Çavuşoğlu said on Twitter.
