STRASBOURG - The head of the Serbian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Biljana Pantic Pilja said on Tuesday evening the body had made a "disgraceful decision" by adopting a recommendation to grant CoE membership to the so-called Kosovo, trampling all norms of international law.

STRASBOURG - The Serbian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (CoE) on Monday submitted ten amendments to the text of a recommendation to admit the so-called Kosovo to the CoE.

BELGRADE - At a meeting with Swiss Ambassador to Belgrade Urs Schmid, the members of Serbia's delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) noted that potential CoE membership for the so-called Kosovo would be a gross violation of international law and the organisation's statute and principles.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic demanded on Thursday that the government set up a special team to thwart an initiative for the so-called Kosovo's admission to the Council of Europe (CoE), to be debated by the organisation's Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) on April 16.

BELGRADE - At a meeting with the head of the French delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Bertrand Bouyx on Monday, Serbian FM Ivica Dacic said he expected French representatives in the Council of Europe to have more understanding for Serbian arguments at an upcoming session on the so-called Kosovo's request to join the organisation.

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Ivica Dacic said on Thursday a decision by the Committee on Political Affairs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) to accept a recommendation to admit the so-called Kosovo to the CoE was a direct violation of Serbia's interests and territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as a violation of the principles the CoE rested upon.

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Ivica Dacic slammed on Wednesday as "disgraceful and scandalous" a decision by the Committee on Political Affairs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) to accept a recommendation to invite the so-called Kosovo to membership in the CoE.

BELGRADE - The head of Serbia's standing parliamentary delegation to the Council of Europe (CoE) Parliamentary Assembly Biljana Pantic-Pilja said on Friday CoE rapporteur Dora Bakoyannis had recommended that the so-called Kosovo be admitted the organisation, and added that its Committee on Political Affairs would decide on this at an extraordinary session scheduled for March 25.
