Construction of new Ljubljana prison set to begin this month
Koper – The construction of a new prison for Ljubljana, which will be located on the outskirts of the city in Dobrunje, will start this month, Justice Minister Dominika Švarc Pipan announced on Friday. The contract has been signed and the works are scheduled to be completed in 2025.

No torture in prisons, conditions inhumane
BELGRADE - There are no systemic forms of torture in Serbian prisons, but the conditions in them are inhumane due to overcrowding, a conference on the results of a study conducted by the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Serbia was told on Friday.
