RAS head charged over Tempe railway accident
The Larissa Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against the head of the Regulatory Authority for Railways (RAS) in connection with the fatal Tempe train crash, following a recommendation from the appellate investigator. The charges include intentional and repeated disruption of transportation safety through omission.

Rail regulator to summons railway companies to hearing
The Regulatory Authority for Railways (RAS) has announced that it is summoning the Hellenic Railways (OSE) and Hellenic Train to a hearing for alleged violations that led to the February 28 railway disaster at Tempe after completing an investigation into the collision.
New safeguards
The recriminations between state-run railway company OSE and the Regulatory Authority for Railways as to who was (not) adequately inspecting staff training is in itself a clear evidence of a system failure.
