Romanian Opposition Leader Testifies in Treason Probe

Romania's Liberal opposition leader Ludovic Orban testified on Tuesday in front of organised crime and terrorism prosecutors as part of an investigation into whether the country's Prime Minister Viorica Dancila and Social Democratic Party chief Liviu Dragnea committed treason by publicly disclosing classified information.

Romania's Ambassador to Italy, Dana Constantinescu said that the diplomatic and consular missions have no sort of competence as regards regulating the legal framework on organizing elections abroad; she stressed they suggested the organization of 66 polling stations ahead of the second round.
