A Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) release remitted to AGERPRES on Friday shows that the representatives of the Romanian associations thanked the representative of the Government in Bucharest for the support they benefit from Romania and presented the activities they conduct, with a special highlight on the projects in the education area.
"The Romanian official reviewed the programmes and actions of MAE's Department on Policies for Relations with Romanians Everywhere, such as the "ARC" camp programme, benefitting this year also a significant number of Romanian children and youth everywhere. They discussed a series of aspects related to the funding session through which the Romanian state supports the projects of the Romanian communities. The debate also included the main concerns of the Romanian community in the Hellenic Republic," the cited source points out.
Minister Tilvar also spoke of the advantages provided by the collaboration within the Romanian associative environment, through the development of more visible, wider projects, with a significant impact on the community.
"The Romanian dignitary insisted on the importance the courses of Romanian language, culture and civilisation have for the young generations, both in the sense of preserving the identity spirit and for the prevention of the issues related with the possible reinsertion in the education system of Romania," MAE underscores.
