AGERPRES clarifications regarding "Germany-Romania. 135 years of diplomatic relations" brochure

The Romanian National News Agency AGERPRES has created until this moment a series of four special brochures, on the occasion of the celebration of 135 years of bilateral diplomatic relations between Romania and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the United States of America, France and Germany.

Romania, Ukraine govt's to hold joint sitting as agreed by ForMins Aurescu, Klimkin

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin announced here on Tuesday he had proposed the Romanian side to hold a joint sitting of the two countries' governments, an idea that Romanian counterpart Bogdan Aurescu described as 'very good', adding it is worth being implemented no later than this year.

Romania Gets New Foreign Minister

President Traian Basescu on Monday approved the nomination of Bogdan Aurescu for the post of Foreign Minister.

Aurescu, 41, is a career diplomat who has been working for the Romanian Foreign Ministry since 1996. His main achievement was coordinating Romania's team in the case against Ukraine on maritime delimitation in the Black Sea, which was concluded in 2009.

MAE: Possibly a ninth person in the van that crashed in Spain

Representatives of the Romanian Embassy in Madrid and the Consulate of Castellon de la Plana, in cooperation with Spanish authorities, are checking whether or not there is a 9th person in a recent road accident in Spain that left eight Romanian nationals dead. The 9th person would be the driver, as his family claimed he was in the vehicle.
