Mojsilovic, Kfor commander discuss security situation in Kosovo-Metohija

BELGRADE - Serbian Armed Forces (SAF) Chief of General Staff Gen Milan Mojsilovic met with Kfor Commander Maj Gen Ozkan Ulutas in Belgrade on Wednesday.

This was a regular high-level meeting during which they reviewed the security situation in Kosovo-Metohija and the cooperation between the SAF and Kfor on the joint task of creating a safe and secure environment in the province.

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Defence Minister Milos Vucevic met with Bosnia and Herzegovina Armed Forces Chief of Joint Staff Maj Gen Gojko Knezevic on Wednesday, the Serbian Ministry of Defence said in a statement.

Vucevic noted that further strengthening of bilateral relations required commitment on both sides.

Serbian army general staff launches initiative to reinstate compulsory military service

BELGRADE - The Serbian Armed Forces (SAF) General Staff on Thursday submitted to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic as SAF commander-in-chief an initiative to reinstate compulsory military service in the duration of up to four months, the Serbian Ministry of Defence said.
