Foreign nationals arrested over footage of former general HQ building

Serbian peacekeepers in DR Congo safe - MoD
BELGRADE - All eight Serbian Armed Forces troops serving in the MONUSCO peacekeeping mission in DR Congo are safe and performing their duties normally, the Serbian Ministry of Defence said in the wake of Friday's attack on the UN mission, in which at least 14 peacekeepers were killed and another 53 wounded.

Vulin. Military budget to be 25 pct higher
ARANDJELOVAC - The 2018 budget of the Serbian Ministry of Defence will be up by 25 pct, with most of the funds to go to a salary increase for the armed forces personnel, Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin said on Wednesday.
The salary increase will amount to 10 pct, Vulin said.

Serbian, Russian air forces kick off joint exercise
MOSCOW - Pilots of the Serbian Air Force and Air Defence and the Russian Aerospace Defence Forces on Wednesday kicked off BARS 2017, their third joint flight and tactical exercise.
This year, BARS is held at the Lipetsk-2 airport in the city of Lipetsk, 500 km southeast of Moscow, the Serbian Ministry of Defence said in a statement.

International military exercise Platinum Wolf 17 kicks off
BELGRADE - Platinum Wolf 17, an international military exercise aimed at improving interoperability and mutual understanding among partner armed forces at tactical level in operations for supporting peace in a multinational environment, began at Base South on Monday, the Serbian Ministry of Defence said in a statement.
